Great Emergency Light: Reviews Coleman 2000000866 Twin U-Tube Electric Lantern

Coleman 2000000866 Twin U-Tube Electric Lantern is perfect for environments where there is little availability for electricity. The first time I turned on this family-sized lantern I said "WOW!" This is a serious light! I recommend it. It's worth the money.

It takes 8 D batteries and gains some weight after adding the batteries, nothing that a child 5 and up can't carrry. The lantern has a low, high and off setting...simple to use...there is not much difference with the low light and the high light.

Phenomenal Emergency Light Reviews Coleman MicroPacker Compact Battery Lantern

Coleman MicroPacker Compact Battery Lantern is reliable light for camping, walks, or emergencies. We use good quality NiMH "pre-charge" rechargeables, but any high quality NiMH or LiIon batteries will last longer than you need them to. We're talking weeks of intermittent use, and many many days of 24/7 use. (I was going to do a timed test but got bored... this thing lasts that long.)

It's a great light for reading in a tent or playing games at a table. It's a good light for seeing the path near you or taking your pet out, for seeing in an unlit campground shower or providing a small beacon for the kids to find their way to you. And it is not one of those super-bright lights that bothers people in the campsites next door.

Great Emergency Light Reviews Energizer Weather Ready Folding Area Lantern

I picked up two of these Energizer Weather Ready Folding Area Lantern for power outage times, and for an indoor light, they perform as I expected. Of the various products I had purchased after Sandy to provide emergency light, this lantern was the best.

It works great to illuminate a dark room or hallway, such as when a blackout strikes. It works much better than a flashlight in this regard, and is of course, safe unlike unsupervised candles. And best of all, the LED lights are bright and last for days using 4 'D' sized batteries.

A GEM of a light! Reviews Streamlight 44900 Waypoint Spotlight with 12V DC Power Cord

It has been a week or so and I have been using the Streamlight 44900 Waypoint Spotlight every night 5 days a week. It puts light where I need it. It evens lights up the inside of a car from 400 feet. I am using rechargeable batteries which are much lighter. It does not hamper the performance at all. So I do not have to hold it all the time I used one of my single point shotgun slings and cross it over my torso.

Impressive and uses little energy. Much better than those with heavy built in battery. Get rechargable c cells and use them when you don't have 12V access. Light is much lighter and useful. Still believe in the boogeyman, this Streamlight 44900 Waypoint spot light will surely light your way. Close to a half mile of light beam. Very impressed with the strength of the beam.

Best LED Spotlight! Reviews Coleman 4351-700 Led Rechargeable Spotlight Lanterns & Lightsticks, Camping

I live in an area without much light at night and wanted something that I would be able to use to light up areas when I hear noises etc. This Coleman 4351-700 Led Rechargeable Spotlight Lanterns is perfect for that use. It seems to illuminate a long distance well (100 yards or so) and has exceeded my expectations.

This light though turns the night into day and you can see for a long long ways. It's replaced every flashlight in our house. Nearly a year later, a few drops, and it's still as good as new. Coleman 4351-700 Led Rechargeable Spotlight Lanterns & Lightsticks is a touch heavy so if you are weak or can't carry about 5 lbs this might not be your answer. Light for dollars spent though, good luck finding better.

Mostly For Emergencies! Reviews Coleman Two-Mantle Dual Fuel Powerhouse Lantern

The Coleman Two-Mantle Dual Fuel Powerhouse Lantern is the way to go. Brighter than the standard size lantern. Still very we'll made. Just make sure to buy lots of mantels. You don't want to be without a couple of replacements when you need this. Go Campers!

I bought one of these two years ago before a family camping trip. Since then, it's been used quite often for sitting by the firepit in the backyard and also for when we're having outside parties. Coleman Two-Mantle Dual Fuel Powerhouse Lantern even sat for about six months without being used, and the fuel tank was still pressurized (accidentally - I forgot to relieve it before storage, but I was really surprised it held pressure for that long).

Love the adjustable brightness! Reviews Coleman Twin LED Lantern

Where do I start... Extremely bright, durable, quality product. Bought a few of these lanterns to quality for the discount ($20 off). With batteries, these Coleman Twin LED Lantern are both bulky and heavy, but not more so than a typical Coleman dual-fuel double mantle lantern. Still, compared to many other LED lanterns, these are fairly big. The heft has to do with the 8 D-cells.

Anyway, I liked this Coleman Twin LED Lantern unit so much that I purchased another. I think it is the best one of its kind available and that you will like it, too. As far as performance goes, these lanterns are great! The brightness compares to a propane/fuel type, especially from a distance. Close up, the LED lanterns appear less bright because their light is not as concentrated as a fuel type.

Reviews Coleman Rugged Battery Powered Lantern Family Size

I Bought this Coleman Rugged Battery Powered Lantern Family Size for an 9 day power outage! A big storm knocked out power in our area for 9 days and this came in the middle of it. I really enjoyed having it. It's bright, lasts a long time an is very useful. It lit my room nicely and we used it in other areas of the house as well.

The "low" setting is almost as bright as the "high" setting (only one-half stop dimmer), but extends the battery life from 17 hours to a fantastic 28 hours! I figure one set (8) of fresh "D" cells should last though a week of dark nights. I'm glad I bought it. I also use it night fishing when I need some extra lite. Durable and sturdy. It's everything you expect from Coleman.

Outstanding Lighting! Reviews Coleman Quad LED Lantern

This Coleman Quad LED Lantern is, by far, the best camping lantern I have ever used! Not only is it super bright, it is smaller and more convenient than a propane lantern - especially since I no longer need to tote around gas canisters. Best camping light we ever bought. The led technology lets this light run all week while we are camping and the ability to take sections loose allows everyone to have their own light when needed.

Besides camping, we have found this to be very handy while out fishing overnight with multiple people in the boat. Coleman Quad LED Lantern is not only this lantern's overall design that make it great, but the attention to little things as well. For example, the rechargeable light panels are powered by AAA rechargeable batteries. The Coleman LED Quad Lantern is the lantern of the future that I bet all competitors will try to copy.
